Il Lago dei Tre Comuni (conosciuto anche col vecchio nome di "Cavazzo") è il più vasto lago naturale della regione Friuli-Venezia-Giulia. Assai noto nei secoli passati per l'abbondanza e la qualità del pesce presente, ha cominciato ad essere valorizzato turisticamente nei primi decenni di questo secolo. Ha subito profonde modifiche dopo i lavori idroelettrici eseguiti negli anni '50 ma, negli ultimi anni, è stato ed è oggetto di una serie di interventi per la sistemazione paesaggistica ed ambientale e per il rilancio delle potenzialità turistiche. Oggi è possibile soggiornare sul lago ed apprezzare i suoi splendidi scorci paesaggistici, usufruire delle strutture esistenti per la pratica degli sport nautici e della pesca sportiva, compiere numerose escursioni nella zona della Valle dei Lago.

The Lake of Three Municipalities (Lago dei Tre Comuni), better know by its old name as "Cavazzo lake", is the bigger natural lake in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. It was well know in the past centuries for the quantity and the quality of its fish. Tourism has been developped there since the beginning of this century. The lake was deeply modified throughout the fifties by the hidroelectric power piant. Many projects were recently (and are still) carried out to protect the landscape, the background and to increase tourism. Nowadays you can spend your holidays on the shore and enjoy the wonderful view of the lake. You can do water sports and go fishing; you can also go on several excursions in the lake valley.

Le Lac des Trois Communes, mieux connu par son ancien nom "lac de Cavazzo", est le lac naturel le plus grand de la région Friuli Venezia Giulia. Très renomm‚ dans les siècles passés pour l' abbondance et la qualité du poisson qué il contenait, le lac a été apprecié du point de vue touristique à partir du début du siécle. Il a subi de profondes transformations pendant les années '50 à cause des travaux hydroélectriques. Dans les derniers temps on a fait (et on continue à faire) une série de travaux pour améliorer le paysage et l'air ambiant et pour mettre plus en valeur les aspects touristiques. A présent on peut séjourner au bord du lac et jouir de son panorama splendide. On peut pratiquer des sports d'eau et la pêche et on peut faire aussi de nombreuses excursions dans la zone de la vallée du lac.

Der See der Drei Gemeinden ("Lago dei Tre Comuni"), besser bekannt durch seinen alten Namen "Cavazzo See", ist der grösste natürliche See in der Region Friaul Julischen Venetien. Er war in den vergangenen Jahrhunderten sehr bekannt wegen der Menge und der Qualität seiner Fische. Man erschloss ihn als Ferienort Anfang des neuzehnten Jahrhunderts. Er erlitt starke Veränderungen infolge von Bauarbaeiten für das Wasserkraftwerk, das man in den fünfziger Jahren errichtete. In der letzten Zeit wurden (und werden noch) Eingriffe zum Landschaft und Umweltschutz vorgenommen, um den Tourismus aufzuwerten. Heutzutage kann man am See Unterkunft finden. Man kann seine herrliche Landschaft gemessen und zugleich die Wassersporteinrichtungen beNützen; man kann sowohl Sportangeln treiben wie auch zahlreiche Wanderungen in Gebiet des Seetals machen.
